About Me

I am Chef Donavan and I love fusing worldwide flavors with southern comfort. I can trace my love of food back to my childhood. My journey in the food industry started by hosting events for my friends and family.  Night after night, my living room reached capacity with laughter, love, and good food. When my phone started to ring with catering opportunities from new customers, who were not family members, I knew curating culinary experiences would be my calling. I began to work with restaurants and caterers to get first hand experience in running and growing a food enterprise. Through my travel experiences and training, I have learned to translate my love of food into memorable edible stories. I have managed and worked with some amazing staff at events, like the CFDAs and Harlem EatUp, honing my skills and preparing for this moment. My mission is to provide original delectable fresh food with quality service! I look forward to satisfying your appetite!

The Weekender

The Weekender is my meal service providing restaurant quality food and drink available for curbside delivery or pick-up. We currently only offer meals on Saturdays and Sundays, releasing our menu every Wednesday. Meals are limited so make sure to reserve yours below.
